Description Asif Youssuff 2009-05-31 20:57:43 UTC
Please describe the problem:
After a few minutes of chatting in any channel, the nicks in chat, and some of the text starts to become visually corrupted. The nicks are especially affected, losing color when spoken to, (making it impossible to see who is talking to you).

Switching to another channel or user and returning to the channel fixes the visual issues -- it seems to redraw it.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open app and begin chatting.
2. observe visual corruption

Actual results:
Text becomes visually corrupted.

Expected results:
clear text, no issues.

Does this happen every time?
It seems to happen every time.

Other information:
I'm going to use the ubuntu bug reporter to report to launchpad as well, there may be some uploads that might help diagnose the issue. I will also upload a graphic showing the issue.

The bug is also tracked on launchpad here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xchat-gnome/+bug/382237

There is some information attached to that bug report that may be helpful.

I have added more information to the launchpad bug entry, which may help with finding the bug.

This seems like an nvidia bug, not gnome. Closing as not gnome.
