GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 583863
Wrong explanation for the command 'extract-here'.
Last modified: 2009-06-15 16:16:11 UTC
Documentation Section: It appears if one types file-roller --help -h, --extract-here Extract archives using the archive name as destination folder and quit the program Correct version: -h, --extract-here Extract the contents of the archives to the current folder. Other information:
Created attachment 135368 [details] [review] Patch to fix the aforementioned issue.
The bug is valid only if the archive in question contains a single file. In any other situation file-roller seems to perform what it claims to do, although I think the help-line is still misleading as this isn't always the case. Maybe separation of the two functionalities might be a better idea?
I changed the text in "Extract the contents of the archives in the archive folder and quit the program"
