Description Colin Williams 2009-05-20 19:07:10 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Whenever either of the two batteries installed in my computer hits critical level, regardless of the direction, gnome-power-manager shuts down the computer. I've observed it in the following situations:

1. Battery #2 drains to 1%, when battery #1 is full. The computer shuts down, saying battery level is critical.
2. Battery #2 is removed, battery #1 is fully drained, battery #2 is added, and then the computer is plugged in to charge battery #1. When battery #1 reaches 1% charge, despite the fact that the computer is plugged in, the computer shuts down saying the battery level is critical.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Use a laptop with two batteries.
2. Drain either battery to 1%

Actual results:
The computer shuts down.

Expected results:
Unless *both* batteries are critical *and* the computer is not plugged in, gpm should not shut the computer down.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Just realized that I mixed up the codenames. I'm using Karmic, not Jaunty.
