With shave enabled it's impossible to build gtk-doc because the error "can't infer tag" by libtool appears. The reason is that CC command is replaced by "/bin/sh shave gcc" and libtool get's confused. We probably need to disable shave if gtk-doc is enabled.

I'd like to point out that you have a solution for your project to work with current gtk-doc shipped in distros in the README file that comes with shave: http://git.lespiau.name/cgit/shave/tree/README
