GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 582966
"Error stream" and stop playing with a stream OGG Vorbis
Last modified: 2009-05-19 10:03:03 UTC
Please describe the problem: If I listen a stream OGG Vorbis, such as a web-radio, playback stops on an error between each tracks. If I run Rhythmbox from Shell, I have the following error message: "(20:40:47) [0x2657500] [tick_cb] rb-shell-player.c:3615: tick: [http://www.oxyradio.net:8000/hd.ogg, 152:0(0)] (20:40:47) [0x2657500] [tick_cb] rb-shell-player.c:3615: tick: [http://www.oxyradio.net:8000/hd.ogg, 152:0(0)] (20:40:47) [0x2657500] [tick_cb] rb-shell-player.c:3615: tick: [http://www.oxyradio.net:8000/hd.ogg, 152:0(0)] (20:40:47) [0x2657500] [rb_shell_player_error] rb-shell-player.c:3423: playback error while playing: Erreur interne de flux de données." With Totem from shell, I have this: "** Message: Error: Erreur interne de flux de données. gstbasesrc.c(2330): gst_base_src_loop (): /GstPlayBin:play/GstSoupHTTPSrc:source: streaming task paused, reason not-linked (-1)" I have this problem with Totem, Rhythmbox, and with the media player included in Maemo. They all use gstreamer. Is no problem with VLC or MPlayer and the same stream. Steps to reproduce: 1. Run for example Rhythmbox or Totem. 2. Listen to the following streams: http://www.oxyradio.net:8000/hd.ogg 3. Wait for the bug, which usually comes at the end of each song. Actual results: Playback stops on an error between each tracks. Expected results: That the song continues playing. Does this happen every time? Almost. Other information:
I believe this will be fixed when they move to playbin2. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 407634 ***
