The new hotkey assigment is working only if i restart gnote.
This should work without any additional action.

This bug affects all preferences in gnote. The attached patch should solve this problem.

I wonder if bug 582242 isn't a dupe of this too.

The patch looks good to me. I'll check and apply for next release.
