Description myxiplx 2009-05-10 07:22:32 UTC
It looks a bit weird having a large blank space and a 'more' button when you have no recent documents. Could I suggest a couple of quick changes:

- A faded grey 'no documents to list' message
- Remove the 'more' button if all recent documents fit on the screen

The second part is fixed as of today:

commit 36b11ee8c7eda335d61f4d0210c5361ff06787b7
Author: Siegfried-Angel Gevatter Pujals <rainct@ubuntu.com>
Date: Fri Sep 25 20:54:40 2009 +0200

Do not show "More" next to "Recent Docs" if there are no docs (bug #582037)

Comment 2 Jonathan Strander 2010-03-13 23:48:43 UTC
Though you are not showing "More", it is still clickable and brings up the side pane.
Comment 3 Siegfried Gevatter (RainCT) 2010-07-29 07:23:45 UTC
Fixed that again.

Although I guess there's no point in worrying about this now that there is a new redesign planned.
Comment 4 William Jon McCann 2010-10-16 21:11:58 UTC
This was certainly true but we're going to move to a new layout that won't have this problem.
