Description Sam Geeraerts 2009-05-03 18:42:48 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Section 2.2 of the manual says "Open the Gnote menu using the key combination Alt+F12.", but that doesn't work.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Gnote.
2. Press Alt+F12.

Actual results:
Nothing

Expected results:
The Gnote menu should open.

Does this happen every time?
It happens every time with the default settings. When I enable "Listen for Hotkeys" in preferences and set "Show notes menu" to "<Alt>F12" myself and then restart Gnote, it behaves as advertised in the manual.

Other information:
I'm using GNOME and the package from the gnewsense-mips-l distribution on a Lemote Yeeloong laptop.

Works fine here.

Did you enable the "hot keys" in the Preferences?

This is also the default settings.

This was a (debian) packaging bug. I just fixed it.
