GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 57945
crash on alarm after turning off an alarm on a repeating event
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-pim Severity: normal Version: 1.4.0 Synopsis: crash on alarm after turning off an alarm on a repeating event Bugzilla-Product: gnome-pim Bugzilla-Component: gnomecal Description: the app had been runnig for quite some time and crashed over a weekend. the only thing i'd done lately was to turn off the alarm dialog on a repeating event that was 'zero-time' (from 9:00pm-9:00pm). zero-time events are not supported by gnomecall aparrently, but this event was added from my palm pilot when i synchronized. so i turned off the alarm, got the warning about zero-time evwents, and changed to end time to 9:15pm. i assume that over the weekend the alarm tried to go off for this event or something. hope that helps. Debugging Information: (no debugging symbols found)...0x4057e519 in __wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
