Steps to reproduce:
1. double-click on Start Menu item "GnuCash"
2. Wait for the windows error message .. only takes a second (or less)
3. All I see is the Windows eror box titled "Error" with a big red X in it and the text "Unspecified fatal error encountered, aborting."
4. Followed by Windows error message titled "Visual C++ Runtime Library error" and red X with text
"Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\fnucash\bin\gnucash-bin.exe

The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."
