Description antistress 2009-03-20 00:16:00 UTC
i'd like PitiVi to be smart and to automatically save my work.

Besides, after autosaving, the Save icon would be greyed out until a new modification is done (=user feedback)

if the project has not been saved, should we assume a default file name or bring up the save-as dialog ?
Comment 2 Edward Hervey 2009-07-13 06:33:56 UTC
I would suggest saving them to a temporary location before they're given a proper filename. Somewhere in the user's home directory.

That way, we can check at pitivi load time if any such project files exist and propose to 'recover' them.

Pitivi has been autosaving project files for a while now. However, it will finally offer restoring from them, starting with pitivi 0.16.
