Description Akhil Laddha 2009-03-19 11:54:50 UTC
Evolution skips special character in name and then shows it. Like public folder de$ktop will be shown as dektop in evolution.

Bug 579150#c1 : Info : utf8tolinux strips special characters out
Comment 3 Milan Crha 2010-06-01 13:27:26 UTC
utf8tolinux is gone at openchange svn (revision 1884 as of now, but it got dropped pretty longer ago), thus this will be fixed with openchange 0.10. It's also fixed when using PT_UNICODE properties, instead of PT_STRING8. I'm closing this in favour of OpenChange 0.10. But please test with your openchange svn and actual ema master and reopen, if you are still seeing it. Thanks in advance.
