The "timeout" property in SoupSession only works for the Sync API. Would be nice to have it for the Asynchrounous one too.

20:13 <      danw> yes, correct, "timeout" currently only affects synchronous I/O, although that's probably a bug, and we should be setting a g_timeout or something in the async case

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
