Description Anton Birkel 2009-02-28 19:15:04 UTC
When the 'auto-rezising when a new video is loaded' option is enabled, totem grows the window in the positive x-axis and the negative y-axis (that is, the window grows to the right and grown downwards) while leaving the top-left corner anchored in the same location. This behavior should be changed so that the window grows up, down, left, and right while leaving the center of the window in the same location.

As it is, when opening high resolution videos, the window will expand off the edge of the screen. However, with this fix implemented, the window will stay on the screen and remain centered for a much more natural viewing experience.

That's not something we can control — it's up to the window manager.
