Description Johannes Buchner 2009-02-18 02:28:47 UTC
I saw a note application where you had 3 textfields:
  1 - search bar
  2 - results heads
  3 - content
You could jump up and down really easy with Cursor-Up/Cursor-Down.

A similar approach would be nice for the "Search All Notes" dialog:

 a) the cool variant:
   - make the search bar a simple text input (instead of with a dropdown)
   - make Cursor-Down in the search bar jump to the list of notes
   - make Cursor-Up in the list of notes jump to the search bar if the first is selected

 b) the less awesome variant
   - Change the tab order that the list of notes follows the search bar immediately, then the notebooks list.

I understand that you provide some more/different options to solve this issue, but this is basically the same thing bug 512175 addresses: The navigation using the keyboard alone just sucks for now and we need to fix that. Feel free to reopen this bug if you think that this is not the same issue..
