Description Jasper St. Pierre (not reading bugmail) 2009-02-17 21:29:21 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I clicked on "Rescan Media Library," a small progress bar came up and quickly went away, giving me the impression that it had finished scanning, but nothing had changed. Only after a little while did it start importing my media collection. Before that happened, I proceeded to click on Rescan Media Library one more time, also giving me duplicate entries in my library.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click Tools->Rescan Media Library
2. Watch a small progress bar come up and then disappear.
3. Observe that there should be more or better feedback to the user.

Actual results:

Expected results:
The progress bar should always be visible, with the display text changing from "Rescanning" to "Importing Media"

Does this happen every time?
