Description Nicolò Chieffo 2009-02-12 09:12:30 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In evince (and only in evince, not in gedit, firefox, eog), the page ordering option is ignored, both in print preview and in the real print.
I tested using lots of documents (all of them were PDF)

Steps to reproduce:
1. open a document
2. select print
3. select the tab page settings
4. select 4 pages per sheet
5. select another option in print order
6. click print (or print preview)

Actual results:
the 4 pages per sheet are printed using the left to right, top to bottom page orderint, no matter which option you selected

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

Hi Nicolò,

this should be fixed in evince-2.27.1 (#557112). But you need at least gtk+ 2.17.1.

Regards

Marek

No, now it is as 1 page per sheet is selected

(running 2.27.90)

Hi Nicolò,

I didn't notice that you mean the preview. The preview problem is gtk+ bug #592582. But the real print (or print to file) should work and works for me.

Hi Nicolò,

since the bug #592582 is fixed in gtk+ 2.19.0, it should work now. Can you confirm that?

Thank you

Marek
Comment 7 Nicolò Chieffo 2009-11-06 11:07:13 UTC
Can't confirm. I'll have to wait for my distribution to ship it, sorry.
Can you test this for me?
Comment 8 Marek Kašík 2009-11-06 12:15:16 UTC
It works for me with up-to-date evince and gtk+.
