Description Milo Casagrande 2009-02-11 21:45:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In the files:

../gkr/seahorse-gkr-item-properties.glade.h:16
../src/seahorse-viewer.c:496

there is a string, "_Delete", that is used in two different contexts: in one context is a check-box, in the other looks like it is a button or at least an action. My own language, but probably others too, use two different translations for these different items.

Is it possible to add a context on the string of the second file, so that languages that use different translations for these items can correctly translate them?

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

I'm not sure if a context can be added to glade files.

In this case, the Delete in the first file refers to the currently selected application's ability to delete the gkr secret. The Delete in the second file refers to an action the user can take to delete the item and refers to any key, secret or cert seahorse handles.

Not to the glade file, but into the other file:

../src/seahorse-viewer.c

The glade file has the translator comment, and that should be enough, in the other file it's possible to use context to have the possibility to translate the same string but in two different ways.
