GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 57060
undo on groups doesn't always really undo
Last modified: 2007-10-20 15:09:46 UTC
Steps to reproduce: * create a few objects, whose property intersection is not null (for instance, rectangles and ellipses and lines) * make them of different colours (and/or background colours) * group them, edit the group's properties. Change the colour again. Apply Now, all objects should have their common properties all the same. Undo the change: all objects have their common properties the same as what the group's first object's properties were. They should be as before the operation.
Mass reassign of bugs to dia-maint@bugzilla.gnome.org.
Still a problem in CVS head. Needs some low-level rework of the properties code.
Not only that, but if two properties are of mixed value, and only one is changed by the user, the other one is set to the value of the "first" object of the group. This is not acceptable behaviour, unfortunately some properties don't have a proper mixed state yet.
Being handled in the "group properties" bug. Mark as duplicate? http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60331
Hi Sameer, given that this one is already fixed by you, but bug #60331 still has one open issue I'd close this one as fixed with the respective comment. But you can decide yourself now that I've added you to the Dia developers group in bugzilla ;-)

Didn't expect this for taking more than a year to fix half a bug! Thanks! Closing this one, since undo on groups is now fixed in the SVN head.
