GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 569696
Memory leak in message-list
Last modified: 2009-05-04 04:15:06 UTC
Patch explains it all. Its not exactly a leak, but a built-up over a period of time. I have been using this patch for a month now. But I think it changes assumptions, so it must be reviewed for trunk.
Created attachment 127470 [details] [review] Patch for message-list I clear the internal gnode on regen. Its just that.
If it works... :) it would take some time of testing to be more sure. If valgrind doesn't claim anything within, say half an hour, of usage, then why not, put it in, I would say.
mcrha, I had used totalview to figure this memory build up and its been fine. But I wanted some eye-balls on the code to be sure.
for 2.28.x
Evo has branched, can this get in now?
Should get in now.
