GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 569348
CMYK shows 0% Cyan in pointer info windows
Last modified: 2009-01-27 19:33:52 UTC
Please describe the problem: Sorry for maybe wrong categorization of this bug during this bug report. Experienced that on Windows Vista. In pointer information window, if one selects to show CMYK values, the cyan values is always 0% (at least in skintones). Tried with plenty of sRGB JPEGs coming from different cameras with the same result. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open any photo with a person (tried only pics in sRGB) 2. Activate pointer info window. In one of dropdowns select to show CMYK vals. Move pointer over the skin (forehead, chin, tip of the nose). 3. Example: http://62.242.166.220/lpilot/temp/pointer_cmyk.jpg Actual results: Expected results: Cyan value should not be 0% in skintones, unless totally distorted colors Does this happen every time? yes, now I use version 2.6x Other information:
So now bugzilla is the next spam target, oh boy.
It's the first time I used gimp bugzilla. Since I don't know the modules used in GIMP and which of them is responsible for what, just selected one of them to be able to upload. If you want to help, please redirect me to the right place to submit this kind of bugs. Sorry for inconvinuence. P.S.: by the way bug is NOT RESOLVED.
Sorry for that. :) I really thought this was spam since the report is so out of place here and the URL looks like malware. You have to select GIMP as the product - it should be ok now.
This is really just a duplicate to the bug report about proper CMYK support in GIMP. Duplicating. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 123598 ***
