As part of the new gobject-introspection framework we should add support for building girs/typelibs directly into atk itself.

The girs should be shipped with tarballs.

It's already done in bug 567394 for Pango and I plan to do it for Gtk+ but it will block on this bug.

I'll attach a patch shortly which will optionally depend on gobject-introspection.
