Description Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2009-01-20 08:17:02 UTC
Hi,
due to a misunderstanding on my and Tim's side the audioreverb element should be renamed to audioecho as it implements an echo/delay effect. It can also work as a simple reverb effect but (because of missing additional filtering) it creates a metallic sound then.

We could name it audiodelay but this might create confusion as people could believe it adds some delay to the audio or something. Thus I'll rename it to audioecho after the GIT migration.

Rename audioreverb to audioecho. Fixes bug #568395.
The element can add an echo and a simple reverb effect to an audio stream but for a real reverb filter it would need some additional filtering to prevent a metallic-sounding result.
