Thanks for a bug report. What is the calendar type you have your WebDAV calendar configured in Evolution? If it's under "On The Web", then that calendar is read-only intentionally, it only allows you to enter any .ics file on the web, no special server support (like WebDAV) is needed for it. If you want a writeable web calendar, then use CalDAV in Evolution.
Comment 10 Simon Baconnais 2010-03-26 15:25:20 UTC
Ok, so if I use "One the Web", it is read only ... I didn't know that.

I have my own WebDAV, where I created some ICS calendars.

If I want to read and write these calendars, I have to use CalDAV ?

I just tried to use CalDAV, but it crashed Evolution (2.29.92) and know I can't even launch Evolution which crash on launching (I have to force quit).

Correct. But it expects your server can talk CalDAV way.

Could you give here a stacktrace of the crash, or a link to a new bug report, please? It may help to identify the issue.
