Description Bernhard Koenig 2009-01-08 11:26:16 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Say I use the list view in nautilus and I go deep somewhere into some path. Then I suddenly decide that I want to see hidden files in that particular directory, so I press CTRL-H to see them. Then my whole directory structure collapses! So I might be back in my home folder from where I started but no longer in my original path.

Steps to reproduce:
1. In nautilus, go into ~/.xyz/abc/qwert
2. Press CTRL-H
3. You are back in ~/

Actual results:
It throws you back to your starting directory, but I think that shouldn't happen.

Expected results:
I would like to remain in the same working directory and see the hidden files there.

Does this happen every time?
yes
