Please describe the problem:
This bug was found on SNV_103+JDS Vermillion 106.

Steps to reproduce:
1.Execute "gnome-terminal --tab" at the command prompt. 
2. 
3. 


Actual results:
A new window of the gnome terminal opened . 

Expected results:
A new tab  in the gnome terminal opened . 

Does this happen every time?
yes
