I am getting an error which states: Summary and Folder mismatch even after a sync.
I performed these steps:
$ cd ~/.evolution/mail
$ cp -r local local.BAK
$ cd local
$ rm Inbox.ibex.index Inbox.ibex.index.data

Which resolved the error when I opened Evolution. However, when I closed and reopened Evolution, it reappeared. It seams like a permission issue with the hidden folders...
