Description bbu 2008-12-14 11:41:17 UTC
Hello!

I tried to change some Properties at the configured Mail-Boxes. It is possible to see the properties of the configured Mail-Boxes and to change them, but after pressing OK not only the Properties Menu disappears but the complete Evolution-Program is stopped and disappears immediately. The changes are saved as I can see after starting evolution again.

installed Evolution Version: 2.24.2
configured Mail-Boxes: 29

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it.
Can you get us a stack trace? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

Can you also install dev libraries for (lib)glib and evolution-data-server, please?

Stack trace with additional developement packages libglib and evolution-data-server installed

After installing the additional development packages libglib and evolution-data-server I created the new stack trace. This is attached as a new file.
Thank you!

Hmm, still the same problem of missing line numbers for the libgobject calls.
Might be my fault because I should have written libglib2 (mind the 2 at the end) instead of libglib. Sorry. One day I will learn the Ubuntu naming scheme... :-/
Comment 6 bbu 2008-12-18 19:08:29 UTC
Sorry, but the package libglib2.0-dev is already installed. Or do you mean the package libglib2.0-0-dbg?
Comment 7 André Klapper 2008-12-21 18:28:40 UTC
Let's try libglib2.0-0-dbg :)

Sorry, it took some time. But now I installed the package and reproduced the stack trace.
