Description Martin Mai 2008-12-13 20:05:18 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If I type in a location name - for instance, "My House" - then that name won't be preserved when I go back to the edit dialog. If the name was auto-filled, then it will be.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on the date/time applet, expand the 'Location' section and click "Edit"
2. Add a location, but make sure you do this without the autocompletion. klick "OK"
3. Stay in the "Add"-dialog. Select the location you've added and klick "Edit"

Actual results:
The "location name" field will be empty

Expected results:
It should preserve the content of the "location name" field like it does when you have used the auto completion to add a location

Does this happen every time?
Yes

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
