Description Sebastian Pölsterl 2008-12-09 20:10:17 UTC
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 with gedit 2.24.2 and German locale. When I replace 'ß' with any other text 'ss' is replaced, too.

Example:
Warum spielt der Schlosser Fußball?

Result when replacing 'ß' with '_':
Warum spielt der Schlo_er Fu_all?

Actually, ß and ss are somewhat similar in German. However, I don't want gedit to replace text I didn't explicitly asked for.
