Please describe the problem: 'yes or no' is asked when send key to an initial connected machine Steps to reproduce: 1. Click key -> create a new key 2. Choose the choice 'configure Key for SSH' 3. Input the remote machine B hostname and user name, and click 'Set Up' button 4. On 'Secure Sheel Passphrase' window, input the password of login user on machine B, and click 'OK' button. 5. 'yes or no' window is asked Actual results: in this window, user can't input 'yes' or 'no',there is no response. Expected results: User can input 'yes'or'no', and continue to input password and login Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
Is the server you're trying to set the ssh key up on not already in your known_hosts file?
Yes , the server i am trying to set the ssh key up on not already in my known_fuile,but I think it is a bug, should we only set the ssh key up on know hosts?
The non-response of the dialog is the bug, the user should be able to set the key up on systems that are not in the known_hosts file. This prompt is from the ssh-agent in gnome-keyring. I'm moving the bug.
Hmmm, I don't think this is part of gnome-keyring. Seahorse handles the pushing out of keys to remote hosts. I'll probably end up doing the work on this anyway though.
