Description Sebastian 2008-11-25 08:43:32 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When encoding parts of a vCard in a special charset this seems to be ignored by the mailer. This can be easily verified by attaching the given vCard to an E-Mail.

Steps to reproduce:
begin:vcard
version:2.1
fn:Max Mustermann
n:Mustermann;Max;;;
org:Muster GmbH
adr;work;postal;parcel;encoding=quoted-printable;charset=iso-8859-1:;;Musterstra=dfe 13=
;D=fcsseldorf;NRW;40xxx;Germany
tel;work:+49 211 12345678
end:vcard

Actual results:
The special characters are displayed as question marks "?".

Expected results:
Display the correct German umlauts.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
It doesn't matter if it's a version 2.1 or 3.0 vCard.
My Environment is UTF-8.

Isn't this fixed by bug 560681 in 2.25.x?
Comment 2 Sebastian 2008-11-25 12:50:25 UTC
Yes, seems to be dup of bug 560681.
Sorry missed this one, because I didn't searched in "evolution data server".
