GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 561100
Clear the Target Terminal
Last modified: 2011-10-02 14:13:46 UTC
It would be useful to be able to clear the Target Terminal, like we can clear text in any console.
Yes, that's true. Would a clear button be okay-ish in the interface, say just on top of the terminal window ? Or, would it be better to have that in a contextual pop up menu available when you right click on the terminal ? I'd be inclined to go for the contextua menu, personaly. But I a not particularly good at making UI decisions :-)
Hi dodji, I think too that the contextual pop up menu would be very great.
Maybe it would be great to have also an option in Edit > Preferences for automatically clearing the terminal when we click on the Restart button.
Isn't it a duplicate from Bug #561100 ?
this *is* bug 561100 :)
Doh... I meant Bug #501142 (I should definitely get some sleep... I'm doing nothing but non-sense today).

It has been implemented in 072567746e17d487df2254bfaa87e175be3bcb35 and released in 0.9. May be we can close this bug ?
Fixed in 0.9.0
