Description gnome 2008-10-31 11:22:17 UTC
Please describe the problem:
(Notice I'm not confident with the package to report this bug against.)

I use Ctrl+Alt+L to quickly lock my screen when I move away from my desk.

When I go in mouse preferences, and activate the "Locate pointer" functionality, the keyboard shortcut doesn't work anymore.

Deactivating it restores the keyboard shortcut working.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Try Ctrl+Alt+L to lock (then unlock!)
2. Activate "Locate pointer" in mouse properties
3. Try Ctrl+Alt+L again

Actual results:
No screen locking from the keyboard, but locking from the Gnome panel still works.

Expected results:
Both functionalities should work along

Does this happen every time?
Yep, sure!

Other information:
This Gnome 2.24.1 with no modification from my distribution (Arch).
