Description Howard Holbrook 2008-10-23 00:06:16 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I am running GIMP 2.6.0 under window XP using a networked hp OfficeJet 5610 All-in-One printer. I tried to print a 2848x2136 pixel image as a 10x7.5 inch picture centered on a 11x8.5 inch sheet. I used the Image->Print Size function to set the print size to 10x7.5 inches and Page Setup to set four o.5 inch margins. When I printed the picture, the entire page was filled by what should have been the upper left 1x0.75 inch rectangle of the correct output. This also results when I use the Image->Scale Image function to rescale to 2000x1500 pixels at 200 pixels/inch. This problem does not occur in GIMP2.4.6. Also neither 2.6.0 nor 2.4.6 can apply the margins correctly.

Steps to reproduce:
1. See description
2.
3.

Actual results:
See description

Expected results:
A correct 10x7.5 inch image centered on the sheet

Does this happen every time?
Yes

This is now (hopefully) fixed, but you will have to wait for the 2.6.2 release.
