GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 557389
Scrollbar covers the window resizer
Last modified: 2017-07-31 12:45:07 UTC
When you open a note, the scroll bar covers the window resizer at the bottom right of the window. This can be temporarily worked around by minimizing the note and unminimizing it, at which point you have one click to use the window resizer.
Could be a gtk+/mac thing...we might just want to add regular window borders to the notes.

From the dupe: "I think a good example of how to do this within the current UI can be taken from Adium. Like Tomboy, Adium's buddy list doesn't have any chrome along the bottom but it still has the visual cues."

Since downgrading to the older version of GTK for the copy/paste bug, I am now entirely unable to resize any Tomboy notes on the Mac. Before downgrading, resizing worked as expected on windows without scrollbars, and intermittently for those with scrollbars. Now, for windows with scrollbars, the resize handle is covered by the scrollbar and unclickable. For notes without scroll bars, there's no resize corner at all.
+1 davids comment. Exactly the same for me. Either copy/paste or window resizing...
+1 pete. workaround by minimizing only works for me if I have a very big word that creates horizontal scrollbars AND enough lines to create vertical scrollbars, then minimizing and restoring gives a one-shot opportunity to resize the window.
