Description norbert.rost 2008-10-13 10:44:51 UTC
HDD-full-error

when the hard disk was full, evolution still tried to receive emails. that leads to the situation, that all email-headers in the inbox are shown correctly, but when I click on one of them to read it, it shows content, that has nothing to do with that the sender or the subjekt. seems, as if the emails has been "reorganized" in the moment, the hard drive was full.

I have no idea how to restore the original status.

Hi Norbert! Sorry that nobody has taken a look at this report yet and given feedback.
I'm not sure there's anything in this ticket that can or should be done on an application level - I'd rather expect the system to warn you.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2021-05-19 12:28:56 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
