GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 555371
[KB-Fixed] Evolution: Please add a File -> Print menu to tasks, calendar items, and memos.
Last modified: 2009-10-08 07:05:40 UTC
Currently you can print tasks, calendar items, and memos by right-clicking on them and choosing "print". However in Evolution 2.22.3.1, there is no obvious way to print from inside a task item, calendar items, and memo item. For example, there is no File -> Print menu, and the Ctrl-P shortcut does not work either. It would be nice to able to print from inside these items, just as you can print from inside an email.
Sounds reasonable to me.
Created attachment 122920 [details] [review] print options Patch to add print options to task, memo, and event editors.
Hello, Has this patch yet been reviewed? Jenn
Yes, sorry for taking so long with this. Patch looks good as is, so I'm approving it. But I'd also like to see a Print Preview option in the main menu. It should just be a very simple variation of the way "print" actions are handled. Any interest in attempting this?
Patch committed to SVN trunk as r36848 http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/evolution?view=revision&revision=36848
Looks great, thank you all!

Added a "Print Preview" menu item to the kill-bonobo branch.
The "kill-bonobo" branch has been merged into "master" and will debut as Evolution 2.29.1. We believe the branch has addressed the reported issue. If you find the issue still exists in version 2.29 or later please feel free to re-open this bug. Closing as FIXED.
