Description Marlon Nelson 2008-10-02 16:33:34 UTC
XIRR should ignore blank value/date pairs

this would make it more compatible with Excel

in the spreadsheet attached, the XIRR function produces an error (#NUM!)

the purpose of including B3/A3 is so I can insert a new cash flow between rows 2 and 3, without having to update the XIRR formula

Other information:
1/1/2000	-100
1/1/2005	127

	=XIRR(B1:B3, A1:A3)

Note that OOo also ignores empty cells here.
Comment 4 Morten Welinder 2008-10-02 17:04:05 UTC
Probably not too hard. We have the machinery for this.
