GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 553549
Printing fails
Last modified: 2008-10-30 20:16:19 UTC
* Using the portable version of Gimb 2.4.6 Trying to print a .png image of 1275x1723 (Grayscale) to A4 failed. It prints a small section of the image (zoomed). I managed to print it by setting the resolution to 1400 pixel/in, that doesn't make any sense at all. Setting it to RGB didn't help. The image Settings dialog in print sometimes just disapears and gets never drawn back, until the print dialog gets closed and opened again that is. (Exception?)
When printing (using the work around config from above) the print preview shows a tiny image in the middle of the *apparently* huge printer page. If I don't align it to the top-left margin, and leave it in the middle of the *huge* printer page, it get's printed *only* 1 cm to the right in the resulting page. I thought it should print it at all. So I'm guessing there's a problem with the resolution calculating formula in Windows.
