Description Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2008-09-15 20:55:38 UTC
The "Skip to" window should not be modal. Having that window open prevents me from pausing my music or skipping to the next track. There is no reason it's modal, since it's not tied to a specific "must be completed" action.

(Note that Muine has a similar window which is *not* modal.)
Comment 1 Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2009-03-09 10:00:31 UTC
Note that multimedia keys keep working correctly if the Skip To window is open, and that the slider reacts to those changes correctly, so to me it seems its just the UI code that needs a bit of polish.

Furthermore, the keyboard arrows and mousewheel do not work in the Skip To window.

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
