Description chris dunn 2008-08-21 12:59:22 UTC
I'm accessing gnumeric files on an sshfs mounted remote file system using gnumeric 1.8.2.

All file permissions are believed to be correct.

The files open in gnumeric without any problem.

Trying to save them back to the same directory (either changed or unchanged files) results in an "operation not permitted" problem, and the file cannot be saved.

A file ".gsf-save-****" is created in the same directory as the original file. Despite no suffix this appears to be a legitimate gnumeric file which can be opened with gnumeric and contains the changes made before the "operation not permitted" popped up.

Since I don't get the same problem with other apps I'm assuming this is a gnumeric problem.

Thanks.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

This is probably not a Gnumeric bug.
