Please describe the problem:
When I typed in diary russian phrase (for example, 'Это моя первая
запись'), almanah underlined all words. I have not found any options to
configure or disable this behaviour.

Which version of GtkSpell do you have installed? Is your system locale set to Russian? It's detecting all the Russian phrases as being misspelt, which they would be unless your system locale is Russian.

When the next version's released, you should be able to set the /apps/almanah/spelling_language key to "ru" and, assuming the appropriate enchant dictionary is installed, get properly spell-checked entries.
