Please describe the problem:
I have already searched a bit for bugs relating to using the window list with a vertical orientation, which led me to bug #86382. However, this bug does not seem to mention the window list applet's failure to draw vertical text for the entries in the window list.

The screenshots which I have attached illustrate it best. When the panel has a horizontal orientation, the entries of the window list display an icon and horizontal text. If you change the panel's orientation to "left", the icon and text doesn't get rotated, and the entries of the window list only display a colon.

Window list entries now display a colon, doesn't display text rotated with icon included like you'd expect.

Actually, the patch in bug 86382 can do vertical text :-)
