Hi,
thanks for reporting this bug but since 0.10 gst-editor is not an official GStreamer component anymore. Please file this bug wherever you got the 0.10 port of gst-editor (IIRC there's more than just one gst-editor 0.10 port out there)

It looks to me like he's refering to the gst-editor port to 0.10 in CVS though (the code where it crashes looks a bit dodgy, e.g. when it sets up the idle callback in gst_editor_element_stop_child it doesn't take a ref etc., but maybe that's ok, I haven't looked at the code in depth).
