Description arto.jarvinen 2008-06-27 14:39:47 UTC
Signatures in HTML format don't stay in that format. If I design a mail signature in HTML with some formatting, everything looks fine the first time I send an email (in HTML format). The I close down Evolution and restart it and create a new email. This time the mail signature comes out in plain HTML code like this in my email:
--
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 TRANSITIONAL//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
  <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; CHARSET=UTF-8">
  <META NAME="GENERATOR" CONTENT="GtkHTML/3.18.2">
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<DIV ALIGN=center>
<HR>
</DIV>
<DIV ALIGN=center><I>Arto Jarvinen, Vreta kloster, Ostrogothia, Sweden, <A HREF="http://www.ostrogothia.com/">http://www.ostrogothia.com</A></I>
<HR>
</DIV><BR>
</BODY>
</HTML>

The signature seems to forget that it is supposed to show as HTML.

Thanks! /Arto Jarvinen, Sweden

This bug seems to be the same as #440958
Comment 2 Matthew Barnes 2008-12-02 04:32:34 UTC
Closer to bug #562913, which just came in. Closing this one as a dupe, since I've already responded to the other bug. No luck reproducing it so far.
