Description Moo 2008-06-21 20:14:23 UTC
I want some simple drawing tools like those found in Microsoft Paints.

For drawing straight lines and rectangles.

I use the Pencil tool in GIMP, but I cant draw a straight line, it is too difficult for me.

I want a simple line drawing tool, where I press and hold down the mouse button, and then when I move the mouse, it doesn't really draw the line until I release it, it only shows how it would draw it if i release it, until I really the mouse button, then it really draws the line.

GIMP isn't meant to be used primarily for drawing straight lines, but you can still create them by clicking at first endpoint, holding shift, and clicking and last endpoint.

To draw a rectangle, use the rectangle select tool and look for Edit -> Stroke Selection...
