Description Yair Hershkovitz 2008-06-19 13:56:35 UTC
RTL locales: On folder icon view, when changing from automatic to manual layout the icons are pushed to the left of the window.

Correct behavior is for icons position to not change.

Screenshot of nautilus to demonstrate this bug.

Bug confirmed on Nautilus 2.24.0 on Arch Linux. Icons are pushed to the left of the window. Very annoying.

and to i have this problem.
ubuntu 8.10, gnome 2.24.1, nautilus 2.24.1. my system is in lang hebrew.
Comment 4 Yair Hershkovitz 2009-01-01 14:11:16 UTC
Hints: It seems that mirroring the icons' x position is happening twice, hence have no effect, when switching from automatic to manual layout.

Starting with version 3.28, nautilus will not handle the "files on desktop background" feature. For better alternatives, read this blog post https://csorianognome.wordpress.com/2017/12/21/nautilus-desktop-plans/
