Sometime, nemiver cannot open certain source files because it does not know their encodings. Nemiver needs to know the file encoding because it needs to convert the encoding to UTF-8. This is so because Nemiver uses UTF-8 internally.

This is now fixed in trunk. The fix was committed in changeset #839
