Package: control-center

Severity:

>Synopsis: screen savers son't work
>Class: sw-bug
System: solaris 2.8

>Description:
The screen savers do not work. With ou the screen
savers I can not lock the screen. Also the colors
do not come through well. The colors work just
fine if I log into cde, as well as the screen
savers for cde. So I don't think it is the system.

Just a couple of possibilities: First, you need to have XScreensaver
installed; I am not sure whether CDE screensavers have the same
requirement. Second, XScreensaver does not work if you are logged in
as root. Third, if those two possibilities do not work, then I suggest
trying version 1.5.8 of the control center, which features a rewritten
screensaver configuration tool. I am marking this fixed for now, since
it is unlikely to have been duplicated in the rewrite.
